ClickAway 2016, Seattle

I attended my very first photography conference, ClickAway in Seattle Washington, last year.  And let me tell you, it was amazing.  I completely geeked out and walked around feeling like I had reached my own little corner of heaven.  There was fun photography equipment and goodies everywhere, eye candy in the form of the gorgeous photos from The Voice Collection (find all of the photos here, along with my photo of my youngest and my grandpa!), and so many amazing lectures and classes to attend throughout the weekend.  I may have welled up with tears to see my image amongst such stunning photography.   I don't think I can adequately put into words what an amazing experience this was.

I've always wanted to visit the Pacific Northwest and see the amazing woods and mountains in the area.  So I was also incredibly lucky to be able to stay with my cousin who lives in Seattle.  We were able to get out into the woods to really experience the area and it was exactly as I imagined it.  The whole thing was an incredible trip, and an incredible experience.  Below are some of my favorite images from the weekend.

January 2017, 365

I've committed to taking one photograph a day for all of 2017 and will create a blog post to showcase each month.  I'm hoping I'll be able to stick with it when things get busy, but for now I am pretty pleased to have successfully completed one month!

Below are the images, in order, I photographed for each day in January.
