For the past four summers we have been taking a family vacation with dear friends to different areas of Virginia Beach. Each year we're there, we claim it's our favorite. This year was no exception. The kids played wonderfully together, entertained themselves for hours in a hole dug in the sand, we went to a splash park and played in a botanical garden. Jason got to race a catamaran and I got to actually sit and relax. This year the ocean became less intimidating, and more exciting.
It was exactly what we needed after the long and chaotic summer we had.
