Tiffany & Liz, Ligonier Engagement Session

I’ve known Liz for a few years, and she is warm and funny and open. So I was so incredibly honored to be asked to photograph her wedding to Tiffany. It was originally scheduled for this past August, but due to Covid-19, it has now been rescheduled for next summer. Instead we were able to squeeze in (with rather short notice - we talked around 10 a.m. and set the session for 7 p.m. the same day!), a lovely engagement session after some afternoon showers. And let me tell you, these two are completely smitten with each other and 1000% adorable. It was truly, truly my privilege to photograph them and capture their love during this time. While we may have to wait a little longer for the wedding, I can certainly say I am so looking forward to celebrating the day with them!

Below are some of my favorites! xoxo

Taylor & Rob, Highland Park Session

I met Taylor and Rob on the 6th of June to commemorate what should have been the day of their wedding. Like so many other couples, they made the difficult decision to move their wedding date to next year because of the uncertainty of Covid-19. This was not a decision they made lightly and while they were of course disappointed to not get married this day, they were full of nothing but love and smiles during our time together. We strolled around Highland Park in Pittsburgh, Taylor and Rob had their own ‘first dance’ and I let them just be together and know that while they may have to wait a little longer, the day will be all the sweeter when it finally arrives because of their patience.

To any other couples out there who may have made the difficult decision to postpone, I highly encourage a session on your original day to help you remember this important date and remind you that your love is not cancelled. It will continue to grow as you rely on each other during any set back sent your way. Hugs and love friends! xoxo
