National Aviary, Pittsburgh Wedding, Bella and Liam

Liam and Bella exchanged vows at the beautiful St. Pauls Cathedral in Pittsburgh last March. While we planned for many portraits on the Carnegie Mellon steps, it ended up being a really chilly day so we quickly photographed as much as we could in Oakland and then continued the celebrations at the National Aviary. Thankfully the Aviary offers amazing opportunities for stunning photographs while staying comfy inside. We visited with the flamingos and penguins and then partied the night away on the dance floor (Grandma, especially, had a blast and was a hit!).

I first met Bella (& Liam) when I photographed her sister’s wedding in 2023 and I am always so so honored to be invited back to a family’s special moments. The day felt more like a family reunion for me than a job and I simply adored working with these two. In honor of their upcoming one year anniversary, I wanted to share some of my favorite images from the day!

The Willow Johnstown PA, Tahlyn and Nick

Tahlyn and Nick married last summer and held their reception at The Willow in Johnstown PA. Tahlyn was stunning in her elegant gown and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house as Nick watched his bride walk down the aisle. I certainly know my eyes were blurring behind my camera lens!

We may have had to dodge a few showers throughout the afternoon, but by the time we arrived at the reception, the skies were blue and offered us a fabulous view from the venue. These two are clearly so smitten and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating and toasting to them throughout the evening. This was seriously one of the loveliest day and so special to be a part of!
