Bar Marco, Pittsburgh Wedding, Tricia and Andrew

Tricia and Andrew held their intimate wedding at Bar Marco in Pittsburgh. Before they exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends, we strolled around the Strip District and captured some of my favorite candid wedding portraits. These two were so so lovely to work with, and no one makes Tricia smile quite like Andrew.

I love every wedding I am invited into, but there is just something so special when they are small and intimate and it’s like becoming a part of my couple’s family. So thank you, thank you both, for allowing me to become a part of yours and get to spend this day with you.

Some favorites below! xoxo

National Aviary, Pittsburgh Wedding, Bella and Liam

Liam and Bella exchanged vows at the beautiful St. Pauls Cathedral in Pittsburgh last March. While we planned for many portraits on the Carnegie Mellon steps, it ended up being a really chilly day so we quickly photographed as much as we could in Oakland and then continued the celebrations at the National Aviary. Thankfully the Aviary offers amazing opportunities for stunning photographs while staying comfy inside. We visited with the flamingos and penguins and then partied the night away on the dance floor (Grandma, especially, had a blast and was a hit!).

I first met Bella (& Liam) when I photographed her sister’s wedding in 2023 and I am always so so honored to be invited back to a family’s special moments. The day felt more like a family reunion for me than a job and I simply adored working with these two. In honor of their upcoming one year anniversary, I wanted to share some of my favorite images from the day!

Many thanks to Susie for helping me photograph this wedding and many thanks to these other vendors for their collaboartion on the day!
